 School Nurse

This 11-18 City Technology College with an enrolment of 1500 students is seeking to appoint an experienced School Nurse to join our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team at one of the top performing Schools in the country.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the Medical Room
• Administering First Aid where appropriate
• Liaising with parents and carers on a daily basis in relation to student illness
• Liaising with appropriate colleagues regarding students with long term illnesses
• Preparing regular reports and data in relation to the medical provision
• Attending meetings in relation to individual students
• Ensuring the Medical Room is fully stocked at all times
• Ensuring compliance with laws surrounding the secure storage and record keeping of medical equipment and medicines

The successful candidate must be a fully qualified and registered Nurse, with at least 3 years’ experience working in a clinical setting.
