The BTEC Sport course is popular in the Sixth Form, with students following the Subsidiary Diploma, Diploma, or the Extended Diploma course. Also in the Sixth Form, students can choose to take the AGCE PE course.

Thomas Telford School students maintain incredibly high representative honours with over 200 students representing their District, County, Region or Country in a wide variety of sports.
