Thomas Telford School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Video Technician to join our existing team. Candidates will ideally have a degree in media or a year’s experience working in a filming / video editing role. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for filming and video editing, and having previous experience working within a school environment would be advantageous. The position is ideally suited to an individual that wishes to develop their filming and editing skills in within a busy, modern, state of the art school. Applicants should be experienced using Avid and the Adobe creative suite.
It is imperative that applicants have their own transport and a clean driving license, as there is a requirement to film external sporting events.
This active and dynamic role will require a degree of physical work helping to setup theatre AV equipment. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a willingness to get fully involved and the role is suited to someone with deep motivation, a hands-on approach and at times and a willingness to work unsociable hours.
